The ability and confidence to express and recognise emotions is uplifting and empowering, but for children it can be a challenging thing to achieve. This is often more so when children have anxieties, ADHD. autism, asperger’s, depression, lacking in self confidence and other issues, difficulties and challenges.
This diary has been designed to engage children and encourage them to express their emotions, moods and experiences of the day. It also encourages them to recognise emotions and what can cause them and help them to feel better.

Yaffoozle – the main alien guiding your child through the diary
Yafalites – emoji style aliens that express emotions and moods –
Happy, Sad, Worried, Angry, Depressed, Tired, Scared and Poorly.
Yafysnoog – cute pet alien that likes asking questions
Yaffafloof – furry alien that likes to listen and help people feel better
Yaffyoudo – cute alien that likes to look like you feel, so your child can draw their face however they wish
Yafydraw – fun pencil character that guides where to write, draw or use stickers throughout the diary
Each character talks directly to your child with speech bubbles, making it friendly and engaging in a comic book style
The diary is not directed to any gender, there are no he or she references so each child can make the diary unique to themselves, allowing them to seeing the aliens however they wish.
